i am trying to install a belkin wireless usb adapter. i called their tech support up and they came up with my ups wasnt config correctly. can anyone help me with this?(uninterruptible power supply service error code 2481)

What would the wireless adapter have to do with UPS? Something is VERY wrong here.

Do you have a UPS on the system?

i dont know, tech support at belkin put me through various steps and then came up with the uninterruptible power supply service on local computer was not set up correctly. if it helps the error code is 2481

That's the error code for the UPS subsystem, but I can't imagine how it's interacting with a wireless adapter! Once again, do you have an Uninterruptible Power Supply on the system?

I'd uninstall the wireless adapter totally and try again.
