i`m wanting to post an mp3 ...can i if i change/format the file type ....if not where can i host it , as in image shack and such ...get it now ?

Can't you change the extension, upload it and then just make sure whoever is going to download it knows what to change the extension back to?

i've seen sites do that by renaming it to *.class

I am guessing you would like to post an mp3 file here on TSG. If that is correct then Big-K has correct idea. If you have a web server or a place on the web to store information that has an IP Name you could just make it a link using the PHP controls i.e. http://www.akaarizona.com/sounds/dogbark.mp3
Just remeber the file will have to be downloaded to the persons computer for them to listen to it..........................
