updating problems
i have a compaq presario 32-bit laptop with windows vista home basic from 2010. im trying 2 update windows ; java & internet explorer.i have internet explorer6. im getting nowhere with this goal

Internet Explorer 7 comes as part of Windows Vista, so there's no way that your computer can have Internet Explorer 6.i have a compaq presario 32-bit laptop with windows vista home basic from 2010. im trying 2 update windows ; java & internet explorer.i have internet explorer6.
Internet Explorer 9 is the most current version that you can install in Windows Vista.

I don't know why you submitted a TSGSIU log in this thread which shield000 started, but you need to start your own thread and advise what issues you're having.
We cannot deal with 2 different people with 2 different computers in the same thread.
This thread is only for dealing with the issues that shield000 is having.
