Hey every one,

Doesn't the United States have allies when it comes to the military?

The only two I can think of is Europe and Japan. There has to be more then that!

Iraqi's ?. We have Moqtada al-Sadr's militant Shiite militia's. :down:
The U.S. would have many allies in certain circumstance --but not ALL circumstance.
A lot depends on just what the U.S. is doing.
Good example would be Operation Desert Storm-- a conflict with many allied with U.S. cause. >f

apparently, Canada is/supposed to be/was all buddy-buddy with the States... I see it as more as a bully/lackie relationship, but that's just me... They go in like the hero of the day, start stuff, make a mess, and the rest of the world is left to clean up... this will keep happening as long as the world (such as it is) keeps enabling it...

who said europe ? it is just few countries in the Nato mostly western Europe. Russia,serbia,bosnia,albania, turkey, Switzerland,moldova, greece are mostly neutral and many have become anti US.

Just to point out, europe isn't one country, I think the only steadfast allies you can say you have from europe at the moment are us (the UK), and spain.

Fidelista was right though, it does depend on what the US is doing as to how much international support it gets. E.g. Gulf War 1 lots of support as it was a reaction to an aggressive act by Iraq against Kuwait. Gulf War 2 on the other hand was an aggressive act against Iraq purpotrated by the US and UK, undertaken with little consideration for the aftermath and with very little international support to begin with and even less afterwards...
