Hello everyone I'm Akash... I bought a new SSD last month and booted it with win 10. Now for some reason, I have to take my HDD and I don't know why my SSD is not booting up without my HDD. Although it's visible in the boot settings it's not booting my win 10. Please help.
Your post is somewhat difficult to understand. From what I can tell, you installed windows to your ssd AND you have a spin drive in the system as well. Is that correct?
If that assumption is correct, you most likely have the boot files on the spin drive. When you do a windows install, setup will install windows to whatever driver you choose however the boot files are installed to the root of the drive connected to the first sata port. For this reason, it is recommended to have ONLY the drive on which you want to install windows connected during the install.
