I have a Gateway desktop, a Toshiba laptop and a Netgear router. I use the Toshiba wireless when it does connect. This is the third time this has happened ,that is I'm unable to connect to the internet. The first two times Windows repaired the connection, this time no such luck. It always says the same, Windows can't finish repairing the connection on account invalid IP address. When I go to the connectivity doctor on my Toshiba it says to turn on the connectivity switch, which is already on. Also my son brought his laptop over and it connected right away to the internet. Does someone have a idea on what is wrong or how I might fix it.

it could be the hardware settings issue. posting the result of ipconfig here may help.
