the basics...
open each of the images then open a new image that is approx. the combined size..paste each image on it's own layer...from there you can make color adjustment and line them up before saving as one.
iF you do a search on Google using "stiching with Photoshop" you should get a bunch of tutorials
ther are also some good freeware programs that work quite well
