I've been looking at a unit called Belkin Switch 2 which connects two PC's to one monitor, and has small wired remote control to quickly change from one to the other.

It also switches the mouse, keyboard, and sound at the press of a button.

Sounds good on the box label but has anyone any experience of it please.

Regards mahler

This is one of many KVM (Keyboard/Video/Mouse) switch devices, it should work fine. I've used several different models over the years, including at least one Belkin unit.

You're Welcome.

Using a remote is fine but most switches also have a hot key sequence that allows you to switch between machines without pressing a button on the switch or a remote (which I'm sure has an added price to it).

I have not priced them in a while but Belkin is a great product as is Zonet. I don't mean to confuse you if you have settled on Belkin, but I would recommend either one.
