Tv Brackets

Hi, not sure if I’m in the right place but thought I’d try. I’ve just bought a new LG 55” tv with a 300 x 300 VESA amount. I’m looking at buying a tv stand with bracket that has a 600 x 600 compliance. Does that mean that it can fit a tv that has up to a 600 x 600 VESA mount, which means it would fit mine. Or, does it mean it will only fit a tv with a 600 x 600?. I honestly don’t have a clue so any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to TSG!!

This is probably in the wrong place, but I'll report it so that it can be moved.

Usually a TV mounting bracket will accommodate several different mounting patterns. Check thew specs on the model you are looking at. Most of the ones I've used have several holes for different patterns, or extra brackets for more adjustability. If you need further help, please post the make/model of, or a link to, the unit you are looking at.
