I have two suggestions:
1. We are nearing that time of the year when the TSG clock gets adjusted to Daylight Saving Time. One effect of that adjustment is that the line at the bottom of the page that says "All times are GMT." becomes "All times are GMT+1." Another effect is that a flurry of posts always gets submitted about whether the time being displayed is correct or not. In order to preempt those posts and because the world does not operate in unison on DST, I suggest that the TSG time remain set to GMT (aka UTC) year-'round. Do not change it to GMT+1 when Daylight Saving Time is thrust upon some of us. Those who want to see their correct local time can adjust the time offset in their personal profile, just as those members who are in Arizona, most of Indiana, and much of the rest of the world must do if TSG displays GMT+1.
2. Add the server timestamp (dateline) in a comment line near the top of each downloaded page.
Followed by two notes:
1. Don't start a poll on this idea. My observation of TSG polls indicates that the number of responses relative to the number of active posting members is usually so small that the results of the polls are statistically meaningless. And, besides, I know ahead of time that I would be out-voted.
2. Both suggestions are based on totally selfish motives.
