First time I've come to this part of the forum! I'm a hardware-game junkie I guess...
Back in the day, when Microsoft still ran IRC servers, I was one of those kiddies running about taking down individual machines with DOS attacks and taking over chatrooms...generally being a pest.
It was only a few years ago, but now I work for the other side of the coin, seeing the results of some of these attacks in a corporate setting...where it causes real financial damage.
It's one thing to temporarily toss a random chatter offline for giggles, but its another to attack a forum that is dedicated to helping others in what is arguably the most misunderstood fields around.
I wish all the moderators the best of luck in getting the guy kicked out for good...Maybe he'll remember that when his hacker exploits come crashing down because of a dead harddrive or something he doesn't know the slightest thing about...
And if your reading this; Shame on you from a former El1t3 HaX0r, this is a community of people spreading knowledge, go play elsewhere...You damage nothing worth damaging, for it serves you as well!
