This is my first post and also my first time opening my desktop so....

I have a HP a1630n with an integrated Nvidia 6150le video card to a nvidia 7300GS. Every time I physically install the 7300 into the PCIe slot and turn on the computer I get a blank screen (no beeps). The monitor light is amber instead of green as if it is not connected to the computer.
I think the problem may lie in the fact that It does not seem like the drivers for the old, integrated card are uninstalling because when I restart They are still there, I think. Is there an issue with HP and this action?
Here is what I DID do. I uninstalled the old drivers. I installed the 7300 into the PCIe slot. Then the screen is black when I restart.
Once I take out the card I can get to the bios so I set it for PCIe and this didnt help.
Please Help?

Have you checked your manual for the upgrade procedure? You need to disable the onboard video. This is done by a few different methods; jumper, disabling in the bios, just inserting the new card, disable in device manager and restart.
Again check the manual for the correct procedure.
