Trouble with performance-hjt log

Hi and thanks for anyone who can offer their expertise....

My laptop has recently slowed way down. It also crashes, hangs indefinitely and I've seen the "blue screen of death" a few times. Despite my best efforts, I can't seem to improve the situation. Here's what I've done so far...

-removed some extra programs, done a general disk clean up, defraged;
-In addition to my normal McAfee virus software, I've also run blbeta, spy doctor, panda and registry doctor. I'm probably running a ton of extra processes I don't need, but I'm afraid of eliminating any of them (and screwing things up worse) before getting an expert opinion. I'm open to any suggestions. I use this computer for word processing and email. Everything else is up for negotiation.

yes you have amassive log twice my size,untill a log expert gets to you stop the spyware suites from running at same time you only need one running at once,running more than 1 can cause havock

Thanks for the info. I ran all my spyware programs and then uninstalled them all for now. Back to running just MCAfee. I also did a general disk cleanup and will defrag. Still hoping a log expert can analyse my HJK log.

To help you could set the Laptop to not restart with BSOD

Press the Windows Logo key + Pause Break key together

Then click on the Advanced tad

Under Startup & Recovery click the Settings button

Under System Failure uncheck Automatically Restart and click OK

Now when it crashes the screen will stay up

Make a note exactly what the errors are and numbers...and post back results.

Another way is to go to the EventViewer

Go Start then Run type eventvwr.msc click OK

Check under System and Applications at about the time when you had a crash and see if you see Red X's and double click on them and read what they say , if they have a blue hyper link click on that to get more info...post results back here.
