Trouble with pc screen

I am not sure I am in the right forum.

1/3 of my screen turns dark about every three or four days and the icons in the dark part are distorted. When I use System Restore I can remove the dark and my screen is back to normal. It is so irritating since System Restore takes some time.

What could be the problem? I am on a Dell Inspiron B130.

Any help will be appreciated.
