has anyone heard of this problem- my dad has a canon printer and is having some difficulty. the printer is not functioning and canon is telling him that after so many times that the heads get cleaned, it needs to be re-set with a code # which they do not give out. they are telling him to take it in for service.can anyone help please- thanks

So it looks like they have a counter that supposedly shows "waste ink tank full" when the counter reaches some number.

THAT CODE DOESNT WORK FOR MY UNIT,ALREADY TRIED THAT CODE.ALSO TRIED THAT FORUM ON FIX YOUR OWN PRINTER. GOT A BUNCH OF GUYS WITH MY UNIT LOOKING FOR THE CODE
