Hi. I'm trying to install two older Microsoft Arcade games on my XP system, and I get the following message: C:\WINDOWS\System32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Any ideas what up with this? Appreciate any help.

you get the message but will the install complete or does it stop there?

if it installs, rt click on the executable file/properties and try running it in 95 compatibility mode.

If it doesn't install, try creating a shortcut to the Installer on the desktop - then set that to run in Win 95 Compatability Mode.

Well gentlemen, I tried the shortcut and setting the compatibility to Windows 95. Still got the same message. It gives me the choice of closing or ignoring. Either one closes the attempt. Do I have this right?: Went to My computer, opening up the floppy drive, right clicked on the setup file/properties and set the compatibilty to Windows 95. Applied and then hit OK. And thanks for the help.
