I tried to open the post titled "Exploit-URLSpoof.gen" from
"phx1hab" and my AV found this to try and launch a trojan.
It is in the Windows NT/200/XP section and was posted on April 14, 2004.
Should this post be removed??!!

Unlikely that it happened because you went to the post. I have been posting there and have not been infected.

Try the options I posted to find out if you have anything lurking in your system.

I will notify the mod to see if he can find anything.

I am telling you, that as soon as I open the post, my AV console opened up and deleted the files that were named exactly like the subject of the post.

You might still want to run those programs, just to make sure.

I checked my post, I didn't mention the other programs, Spybot S&D, Lavasoft Ad-Aware and CWShredder. Those will also search for nasties. When you have made a HighJackThis log after the 3 programs, post it here so I can look at it.
