I started my computer this morning and AVG 6.0 posted that I have a Trojan Horse Virus (Downloader delf. AD)

I am running AVG now.....it's saying I have another virus

AVG may get rid of them but it may be a good idea to post a Hijack This log.

Please do this. Go here http://www.tomcoyote.org/hjt/ and download Hijack This. Un Zip it and click on the Hijachthis.exe.

Click the "Scan" button when the scan is finished the scan button will become "Save Log" click that and save the log.

Go to where you saved the log and click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" then Paste the log back here in a reply.

Do NOT have Hijack This fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless. Someone here will be glad to advise you on what to fix.
Hi Gary3000,
Did you just update AVG??
Those have probably been there. Do what AVG suggestions are to remove the viruses. Do you have Spybot??
I would go here:
http://www.safer-networking.org/
Get spybot , install it, run the search for updates, and download all the updates. Run the program. Check all the red entries and remove.

Hi!

No, I've had this AVG for about 2 months. I haven't updated anything. I ran a Hijack.log, but when I save it to my computer, I cannot open it to copy and paste to put online for someone to read it.

I ran Spybot & Adaware this morning.

Spyboy returned (No immediate threats)
AdAware returned 2 results
Left click once on the HT log to highlight it. Then hold down the shift key and right click on the highlighted log. Choose 'Open With' from the menu. In the 'Open With' menu choose notepad.

Then copy & paste it in a reply.
I ran AVG and both virus' are gone, but here are the names of these virus'.

How did I get these?

C:/ ROOTY.EXE Trojan Horse.downloader.delf.AD

C:/ EXPIORER.EXPLORER.EXE Trojan Horse. Toolber.I
