Hi, and welcome.

This link describes what adclicker is and does. Which, fortunately, is nothing really serious.

If Norton has detected and quarantined it, that's all it can do. The file itself is the virus, and is thus not important.

So, you can just go into the Norton Quarantine, and delete the file.

BTW are you running Norton in Autoprotect mode? If not, you should. Viruses should be detected on the way in before they can do damage, not after the fact when it "could" be too late.

XP Pro, Norton Internet Security ad-ware version 2005, in Autoprotect mode let Adclicker Trojan into my system this morning and I have spent the last 6 hours trying to eliminate...
using Adaware and Spybot iS&D in immunize mode, updated last eve..
what a stinker
