Besides Dependency Walker, what other freewares can be used to check dll information? I'm particularly interested in a tool that can show the list of dlls and/or applications which will use a specific dll.

Thank you for any help.

Process Explorer will allow you to find out what dlls are used by each running process.

http://www.sysinternals.com/

Another utility available from the same site is "listdlls"

ListDLLs v2.23
List all the DLLs that are currently loaded, including where they are loaded and their version numbers. Version 2.0 prints the full path names of loaded modules.

Hi Rollin' Rog,

 I guess I should write down all the tools that I already had. I have the following tools:

Dependency Walker 2.1.3790
Process Explorer 8.33
Faber Toys 2.5 Build 240
Import Searcher

Import Searcher is the one which can show the list of dlls which have dependencies of a specific dll. However, it is getting error when I run it in a Windows 2000 Server most of the time. I guess it is because it is an outdated tool from 2000. The other 3 tools can only show dlls which are dependent dlls of a specific dll.

Thank you for your help,

Peter
