Toggle off caps lock when shift key used. I bought Smart Caps but it is not reliable. Is there a registry tweak or a script I can run or a utility.

did you get a disk with your key board? If so, uninstall in add/remove, and then restart and re-install. If not, I have at times had to shut the system down, un-plug the key board, boot up without it. Shut down again, plug in the keyboard, start the system back up agin. At the least it won't hurt a thing.

What I am looking is to make the keyboard work like a typewriter, so if the caps lock is on and you press the shift key the caps lock goes off.

The way the keyboard should work is that the caps lock DOES toggle. When caps lock is on, pressing the shift key will give you lower case letters...
