Hey,

My internet works fine etc, but every now and again its like the pages wont load and it just timesout, and the way I fix it is I pull the router wire out of the router and put it back in, wait a minute and its all back to normal.

Does anyone know why this could be doing it and how I can prevent it from happening again?

Cheers

Two things to try.

1. Do a factory reset on the router and reconfigure.

2. Download the latest firmware for the router and upgrade it.

Thanks, from thoses steps:

1) Would I just go to the Router Setup and do Restart Router, cause if so ive tryed that alot.

2) Getting the latest, would I just google "router name and model firmware"?

No, that's not what you would do exactly.

1. Do a hard reset. This means, find a small pin and press the reset button on the back of your router for 10 seconds.

2. Go to the website of the manufacturer who made the router, look it up via it's model number, and download the latest firmware.

The firmware can be installed via the routers internal setup webpage (eg, 192.168.1.1, password: admin, or whatever you configure the password to be).
