Hi all,

Just a question I'm not really expecting a fix.....I have downloaded the Demo version of Tiger Woods 2004 to see what it is like before buying it. But for some reason as the program is loading it suddenly stops at the same point every time and returns to the desktop. I have played Tiger Woods 2002 & 2003 with no problems at all and the system requirements appear to be the same for 2003 as for 2004, has anyone any ideas why this may be happening??? As you will see my system is not the most powerful thing around and I am wondering is my system up to running the program.

Did you try redownloading it and reinstall it? sometimes it can be a bad download problem

Hi,

Yep downloaded it twice. but still not joy. I thought it may have been as I only had DirectX 8, and I updated it to 9 but still wont work.

Have you tried updating the video and sound drivers

Hi,

Thanks for that idea will update them and let you know the outcome. If I remember correctly there is a driver update on the Microsoft update site. I think it is a sound driver.....

Hi,

Well I've updated my drivers but still no joy. Suppose I will just have to carry on playing 2003 not 2004.
