Ok...everytime I open a program that uses the internet...my keyboard stops responding in that program. For example...if i open my browser...the keyboard acts as if it is disconnected...so I unplug it and plug it back in and it works fine. The same thing happens when I log into an online game like EverQuest. Every time I have to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in to get it to work. It doesn't do this for non-internet programs. Eventually I am going to ruin the keyboard port from having to do this EVERY TIME. Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

Oh yeah...forgot to mention....if I close the browser or program while logged onto the internet and re-open it it works fine...but if I get booted and have to logon to the net again...even if the browser or program is still open...I have to unplug the keyboard and plug it back in to get it to respond.

You don't by chance have a serial keyboard, do you? Does this only happen when you interact with the internet, or can you do other things on the internet without problems? My guess is if you are using a serial keyboard you may have some kind of comm conflict with your modem... I'm not sure, because this problem doesn't exactly fit that. Even if that isn't the problem, and your are using a serial keyboard, you might want to get a PS/2 keyboard anyway, and that may fix your problem.
