is there a couple buttons on the front of your monitor. it may be that you have to fiddle with them. My kids playing around with mine. Had me running in circles. screen so small i could not see anything. Out of frustration I pushed a button or 2 . Now I am back to normal.....just a thought

Things get old.things wear out.it's no time to panic, just be sure a new monitor is the answer, probably is.

You may have gotten the window oversized somehow. Try this: At the upper right corner find the _X controls. If the box in the center is a double box, click it so it becomes a single box. This might cause your window to shrink some. (If it is already a single box, leave it alone.) Put your cursor on the colored (usually blue) strip at the very top of the screen, left click and hold to drag the window so the upper left corner matches the corner of your screen. When the upper left corner is in correct position, release the mouse button. At the very bottom right side of the window, there should be a triangle made of 3 diagonal lines. Put your cursor on the triangle, and it should become a double-headed arrow.
Left click and drag so the bottom right corner of the window is correctly positioned, then release the mouse button. Finally, go back to the upper right corner, and click the box so it becomes a double box. This will set the window to the correct size.

You need to find the control on your monitor for the HORIZONTAL SIZE and alter that accordingly till you see your screen go normal

Are there some default settings for these buttons.........I mean from 0-100 it seems they should either be a 0 or at 50..........I am really making this worse....What does the DEGUASSING setting do? I selected it and it seemed like a reset but it didn't reset it back to normal///////!!!!!!!!!

You did no harm in pressing the DEGUASS button,it probably needed that doing anyway .... there are what is called factory setttings for the monitor and how to set that up would be in the manual that came with it ...its very difficult without seeing the monitor to advise you really,if you could tell me the make and model I might be able to come up with something....there should be a setting for horizontal size as I said earlier thats the one you want ......
