Problem: The videos at Gamespot will play advertisements just fine, but the main centerpiece vids have no audio. Video scrolls by, but no sound. I just found a trailer I really want to hear, as the video looks awesome.
Possible reasons:
-It could be something the latest Quicktime did. I installed the latest version to view YTMND shorts on Firefox. I uninstalled it as soon as this started (also, I couldn't view Youtube vids after installing Quicktime). The problem still persists (but the Youtube vids are fine now).
-Windows media ******* up of course. Both Firefox and Internet Explorer have this problem. A lot of other videos from other sites like IGN and Break.com are playing just fine.
System Specs:
System:Windows XP w/Service Pack 2.
HD space: 40GB (34.2 actual GB)
RAM: 1.5 GB.
If you need more info, or this is just Gamespot messing up, please tell me.
