PHP is a programming language and it is widely used for developing web pages. To use a database, it uses whats called an extension or plugin which added functionality to connect and use databases, in the case it uses a database system called MySQL which commonly used on Linux/Unix systems. iMysqL is the name of this extension on on recent versions of PHP A easy to use framework called Wordpress, which is used to create wordsites including blogs, and this uses PHP and mysqli extension. If there is an error about this then the error is with the web site such as unable to find or load an extension or access a database for some reason.

 

Thanks Peter, at least that makes a little sense. The error message says that MY installation of PHP seems to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress. Please check that the MySQL extension is installed and enabled.
Then it says if I'm unsure what this means to contact my host or follow a link to a WordPress forum for help.
It happens when I try to visit a wiki site. It's telling me as if this were MY website!
So, then there isn't actually wrong with my phone, the issue lies within that particular site? There isn't any tweak I need to do to my phone to be able to view that site, they need to fix it at their end then?

To enable mysqli for PHP, you need to locate your PHP installation folder e.g. c:\PHP for windows or /etc/php/ folder on Linux.
Then you need to edit the php.ini file and uncomment the line extension=mysqli, for Linux see also mysql - How can I enable the MySQLi extension in PHP 7? - Stack Overflow
