The Meaning of Life...and What happens After...

I ask this question to Everyone here...This is a question of our beliefs and i direct it to each and every one of you....This is for those who believe in life after death and for those who do not believe....This is for those who Believe in The Supreme Being...AND for those who do Not...:)

I have been doing a lot of thinking lately about what happens to us after our bodies give out and Die...I have so many questions but will try to make this as brief as possible...:)

Do you belive in ghosts and/or spirits ??? Do we in fact have souls ??? Each one of us will eventually Die and i was wondering what you All think about what happens to us when that time comes...:eek: :confused:

Do we just Only exist in the memories of the living ??? Do our spirits roam the gallaxy ??? Is there a Heaven and a Hell ??? Are our lives here the previously mentioned Hell ??? Has Anyone ever seen Ghosts or Felt Spirits ??? Why do we strive for the greater good if in the End there is Nothing ??? Lastly What Exactly is the Meaning of Life ???

Personally i am a spiritual person...Yet my beliefs change from time to time...i would like to have the Input from you ALL on these questions...Not just the Fanatics...;) :rolleyes: :D

I believe there is life after death as I have had personal experience to base my views on which leads me to accept and not fear death as I believe I will be re united with my friends and family who have passed away. I don't dwell on the past nor the future too much as I live each day as it comes without too much thought of tomorrow, as for Heaven and Hell, I believe you reap what you sow and you will get your just desserts wherever your soul comes to rest:)

I agree :up: it isn't the thought of death that is scary, but the thought of dying and leaving your loved ones behind is the hardest part..

I idea of dieing slowly of old age and disease, stuck in a nursing home with non-careing, unmotivated care givers scares me. Not all care givers are that way, I've met many who aren't but so many that are :(

Dave ,funnily enough I was thinking along those lines too :eek: particularly I wouldn't like to suffer from Alzeimers, I know I probably wouldn't remember but family would... and obviously we don't want to suffer .. I just want to fade away with dignity:)

Yes I know, I said I didn't want to suffer with Alzeimers but that I would prefer to fade away with dignity and I have never heard of anyone beating the disease, just staving off the advances of the disease short term
