First off I will never again turn off another game no matter how hopeless it seems.

When Oklahoma scored on the late interception and went ahead with a little over a minute left I almost turned it off. Thank goodness I didn't or I would have missed one of the wildest finishes I have ever been a witness too.

Boise State's quaterback didn't let it phase him and went down the field and scored on 4th and 18 with a pass and lateral. Then the old "Statue of Liberty" play for the two points to win the game in overtime was an unbelievable finish.

It was a good game no doubt!

Really wanted to seen Oklahoma win. However, I'll submit, Boise deserved it with the heart they put into the game as well as a few "jaw dropping" plays! LOL!

Now maybe things will get back to normal around here (I live six miles from the stadium in one of the more popular areas and traffic around here is.....sheeesh)!:p

That ranks as my 3rd all time favorite--first was last year's USC-Texas game--fantastic game. 2nd was Johnny Rodgers Nebraska vs. Greg Pruitt's Oklahoma back in the 70s and then this one.

I think the coach of Boise State is going to be getting some offers from some of the top tier schools. That's was bar-none the greatest coaching and play calling I've ever seen (with the exception of that sideline pass that was intercepted for a TD--assuming that he called that play).

Next year Deke--SC is returning just about their entire team!
With the season they had that was suppose to be a "rebuilding season" they probably will be number 1 in the preseason polls. I know they said they are only loosing one guy off their defense.

I also heard their other quarterback, Mark Sanchez, will be in a stiff contest for the starting job next year. Is that a reality or not?

Last night as I was waiting for my husband to finish watching the last football game of the day I started watching when the score was 28-28......I think about 1 1/2 minutes left. I felt so sorry for the quarterback for Boise State when the ball was intercepted, I thought he had just lost the game and would be depressed all year long for that one bad play........but I was wrong, he really did redeem himself in the next minute. I have never seen a better ending to a game in my life!!!!!!!!!!!! It must have been torture for the fans that day.....on both sides, especially those last 2 minutes.

My dad and I watched that game, and were just amazed at the 4th quarter and overtimes of that game. :) It is by far the best bowl game I have seen this season, and the best game I've seen since the USC vs. Texas game last season. :D:up:

Michigan vs. USC was the big disappointment game. I thought it was going to be much more competitive than it was.

I did too--I figured after SC's let down to UCLA and with Michigan wanting to prove they deserved to be in the Championship game that they would beat SC. I guess it just goes to show you why we need a playoff--there is a lot of parity and its just not fair to select only two teams based on polls--thats BS!

Take what I can get Deke--a minute is better than nothing--it would take you longer than that to get your pants off with all the fumbling and nervousness and by that time it would be too late! ;)
You got that all wrong, my depends come off with two velcro straps.:D
