Hey,

Have something strange for you all today. I have a friend whos desktop calendar resets to Jan 1 every time he reboots. Its starting to effect some of his programs like word because everything is saved to jan 1. Any ideas what is causing this?

Could it be the bios battery? (the computer is over two years old)

I agree, the battery is the most likely culprit and replacing it is cheap and easy.
