I was finally able to catch 'The Da Vinci Code' this past weekend. This is NOT the best movie of all times(IMO) but I would watch again.
Enjoyed it greatly

Pulp Fiction has to be my fav movie with classic lines like " That is a tasty burger"

with LOTR trilogy coming in close behind.... "what say you "

.
I say that as good as it is Pulp fiction isn't even Tarentinos best. For that look to my fave movie The Reservoir Dogs. But I will agree that the LOTR trilogy is a close second.

Good choice Valis, Blade Runner basically spawned a whole new gritty way for film makers to show us a potential future

Saving Private Ryan is a good one, not only because it is historically accurate but also because it takes a serious look at the morality of war and how the idea of fighting for something is taken by people at all levels. From Captain Miller's rationalizing that his mission could mean him going home, to that General's quoting an Abe Lincoln letter, all the way to Private Ryan's decision to stay and fight at that bridge. Even Ryan's mother plays a big part even though she never speaks a word in the movie. It is something to behold when the old Ryan, at Miller's grave, falls to his knees and begs his wife "Tell me I'm a good man", after remembering his promise to a dying captain.

The only movie I've seen that never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

LOTR and Princess Bride. My two favorites.

I don't think there can be a best movie of all time in the eyes of everybody.

Never seen it, but the cast alone disqualifies it from the thread...
