I know I can copy a texr file to a CD. Problem is that this will not be able to be read by a CD player. I need to convert it so it can be (is this WAV format?_.
The CD (and the hard drive) stores all files in digital format, irrespective of their origin and nature.
The CD would not know or care if a file was text, image or program binary code.
Your only limitations (with any data file) is that by nature any CD based file is "read only" so whatever you are going to use to view the text file will be unable to modify it on the CD.
No, what you appear to be wanting is text-to-voice, this will not be accomplished by storing a text file on a CD.
You would need to find an application capable of conversion of text - to - speech, have the output recorded and that recording converted to a .wav file. Not a simple operation.
It's going to be a combination of programs, I suspect.
One to "read" the text, such as a Word Processor or Adobe Reader if the text was PDF based, and onother to capture the voice stream, perhaps Audacity or similar.
