I have used this option successfully in the past, but today for some reason, something is weird. I CANNOT get to any restore points! Only what was made TODAY! I have tried to navigate with the arrows to previous months, and it stays on January. Likewise, I cannot click on any other day, only today's date.

What is going on?

well, a simple answer would be they are all gone. make sure system restore is still turned on and there is enough disk space allocated for it- create a new retore point for today and hope you dont need a previous point-as far as i know there is no way to get the old ones back

What would cause them to vanish?

disk clean up has an option to delete all but the latest restore point- maybe it was ran or is a scheduled task
