system resources

Hi guys I have asked this question before but I didn't print out the answers....so how do I get my system resources higher they are currently 49% free while online, isn't that low?

Close programs that you have running in the background.

Start button, run, then type msinfo32 and hit ok...go to software, startups, edit, select all, edit, copy and come back and paste.

Click Start - Run, type in MSCONFIG, then click OK - Startup(tab). Write down everything in the leftmost column next to the square boxes and make note of which ones are checked. It appears that you have too many programs loading and running in the background. You might want to read this article.
