Hello Everyone,

I recently installed WindowXP2005 home edition.After i installed it,i used it for 3,4 hrs and next day when i started my Pc,after normal working like RAM memory display,it went to the user panel and after i selected the user,it loaded that user window for 2,3 sec and close it again and bring system back to user login and displayed this msg "logging off".I again clicked on my user,and it did same thing and doesnt matter how many time i edon a user,it kept on doing same thing.I again installed the window and used it for 6,7 hours tht day,and next day when i started my pc,it again did same thing.Its now 4 days and i m facing same problem.Every day when i switch on my pc,i have to re-install the windows as i cant logon to my user account.Two important things to note are everytime i logged on to the user,system clock goes back to 2002 date and second thing is when i go to safe mode,it show no error and properly logged on to my user account.If anyone could help me how can i slove this problem.Thanks

Check the bios, is the bios time correct? if not then possible have a bad bios battery and needs to be replaced. When posting it always helps to know the system specs as well. example: Dell or Gatway model.

ya i changed the battery also,i put new one there...wid the old battery it always shows wrong BIOS timing so i changed the battery but problem still persists...ya sorry i forgot to mention abt the system...i have AMD 1600 processor,

Is this a sata hard drive?
