I can't get rid of System 32, and because of it, it won't let me delete Kazaa! Can anyone help me?

Go to and download 'Hijack This!'.
make sure it is placed into it's own folder, not a temporary folder. Then doubleclick the Hijackthis.exe.
Click the "Scan" button, when the scan is finished the scan button will become "Save Log" click that and save the log.
Go to where you saved the log and click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" then Paste the log (in the security section)
It will possibly show issues deserving our attention, but most of what it lists will be harmless or even required,
so do NOT fix anything yet.
Someone here will be happy to help you analyze the results.

If is still down due to the DDOS attack on it, the alternative download sites for Hijackthis are:

*Note: When you download Hijack This Do Not download it or UnZip it to a temp folder or to the desktop. Create a permanent folder somewhere like in My Documents and name it Hijack This and put it in that folder.

Reboot and post a new hijackthis log

Miss it the first time your hijackthis is really old

Please update to 1.97.7 and post a new hijackthis log
Your log looks good

Go here and download KazaaBegone and run it to get rid of Kazaa:
I take it that all is well in Faerie land :D

The first time you run the browser, it should ask you if you want to make Mozilla your default browser. If you answered ‘no’ and later decide you would like it to act as your default browser:

Windows: go to Edit | Preferences | Advanced | System. Under ‘file types’, check ‘HTML’, ‘XHTML’ and ‘XML’; under ‘protocols’, check all boxes. You can also tell Mozilla to open various image types by default.
