I'm looking for a program that can run in the background while I surf the net, so it won't be recorded into my history. Are there any progs like that available?

Get CCleaner (Crap Cleaner, freeware). It deletes history for IE, Firefox and Opera. If you haven't used registry cleaners, don't run the 'Issues' section.

It doesn't run in the background, just run it when you're done surfing.

When you open a page it goes to the cache and possibly the history so disabling this isn't really possible

There are programs that clean automatically in the background and there are programs that clean manually.

I recommend CCleaner. :up:
