Hi, I was wondering how much RAM 32-bit Vista supports? Is it 4 GB or 2 GB?

Also, I can't seem to find the release date of Vista anywhere? Has the RTM (release to manufacturer - the final version) already been released or what? Are some of you guys just running RC1 or RC2?

Well considering XP supported 4gb, I don't think they would go backwards. Vista 32 bit supports 4gb of ram. The 64bit version support 16gb in Home Premium and 128gb's in 64bit Ultimate.

The final release was released to manufacturers in Early December. As far as buying it in the stores, I believed the retail version for the stores will be released at the end of the month or early February. That is last I heard.

Many of us are running the RTM (release) version, it's been available to MSDN subscribers for a few weeks now. Vista was released for business customers in late November or early December.
