I have noticed a strange folder appearing on the root of my C drive called "028ba83bcfc3da7a66a99d" which contains a log file named "msxml4-KB927978-enu"

I have no idea how this got here and it looks very suspicious to me. I have attached a shortened version of the log file as the original exceeds the 200KB limit for uploading. Would any of you guys be able to have a look at it and let me know if there has been anything installed on my machine? If you need the rest of the text I can upload it in another post. Any help would be much appreciated.

That's a log for Windows Update KB927978 and if the update was successful you can delete the file. Here's more info: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927978 notice at the bottom it says 'Although it is optional, you can remove the log file and the folder.'
