Starting Windows Explorer from a certain location....

hi there,

how can i open directly to a specific location/folder when i click one my windows exploere shortcut on my desktop?

i mean rather than explorer opening in default location (i.e my documents or something) i want it to open and show my downloads folder.

any ideas ?

Right Click the shortcut and select Properties

Then enter the following in the target window

C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n, /e, C:\Fc2001

Change the last part to the folder you wish it to open in. Mine is set to open to the folder Fc2001 as shown.
