sorry if this in the wrong section, but im new here. anyway, when i start up my laptop, like six folders open up in windows explorer, and adobe reader starts up too.:down: how t i stop them from doing that automatically? any help wold be greatly appreciated.:)

Don't be too quick to close this thread.

What version of Windows are you using?

What startup entries are still checked?

Let's make sure you're not allowing some unnecessary programs to load and run.

Do you know how to post a HijackThis log?

well, first of all, i am sorry that it took me so long to respond, but I haven't had much time recently. anyway, I am currently running windows xp media center edition. Secondly, there are no items currently checked under startup. and lastly, no i do not know how to mpost a HijackThis Log, and I would deeply appreciate it if you would be so kind as to explain it to me.
