Ok, here is the problem, my default Internet Browser in the Start Menu is Internet Explorer. When a brand new user logs onto my machine, when they click start, at the top it has a globe and says "internet" and i have to go manually change it for every new user who logs onto my machine. how can I fix this so every new user that logs on is defaulted to Internet explorer?

right click the start button/ properties/ start menu tab
click on customize
in the general tab

internet , choose Internet Explorer from the drop down box

i know how to do that much. this is needing to be changed globally on the machine. i am not going to change that every time a new user logs on

Well, I suggest you log on to the user accounts in question and change it in their accounts
