First, have you checked your computer's hardware to see if it supports an SSD? You may use Crystal Disk Info software portable for this.I'm currently thinking about switching to an ssd instead of using an hdd for windows and a few games. Can I clone just my os and some games onto the ssd or can I only transfer all the data. I'm looking at getting a crucial mx500 500gb. Thanks

Cloning a drive means you clone the whole drive os, data, hardware codes and setup everything otherwise your new drive would not be compatible with your computer.So I can't just clone some things and move then to the ssd?
