Anyone familiar with SSIS? I'm having a heck of a time with it and need some help. I've created a package that does exactly what I need it to. It runs fine from within the designer and if I right click it and choose execute. Where I'm stuck is trying to create an agent job for it. I've tried everything I can think of.
When I attempt to automate it in this manner, the message I get is:
Executed as user: NETMON-001\etoombs. The package execution failed. The step failed.
The database was created by me under this user, and I have full admin rights to it. I've been through MSDN online, and can't seem to find the problem. Most of what I'm reading indicates that this is probably an access error of some sort. I managed at one point to get the system as far as an error message that said: Error authenticating proxy NETMON-001\etoombs but i'm not sure how.
does anyone know where to find specific steps for successfully creating a package and configuring it as an agent?
