Spybot and Virtumonde

Virtumonde.* in spybot
I ran spybot this morning, and it ran several "virtumonde" files with different extension. It was on these files for a long time. I don't remember spybot staying on these files so long before. I didn't have any spyware that was found. Why does spybot check these files so long?
