Hi..I cant get my Wireless router up and running...I have tried and tried and tried...gettin a bit frustrated doin this...I have No setup cd as the router was given to me and it was an AOL router...My Broadband works perfect on both the laptop and desktop..but when i try to setup the router it wont connect..I have been googling my a** off for weeks now looking how to configure it..I have done almost everthing that have have googled with reference to this...and typing the ip addy in the browser dont work for the embedded pages to come up....So this is my last resort...These are my IP settings I have taken from the cmd.exe:-

The make/model of the router would be a good first step, and the make/model of the broadband modem too.

I'm also confused, are you using the router at all with the two machines connected? If so, how did you manage that if the router's not working?

You need to slow down and be specific about ALL the equipment, exactly how it's wired up, etc.
From the FAQ:
Q: I have a SpeedTouch USB/330 supplied by my ISP, but want to add a wireless connection. Can I use the modem to connect to a wireless router?
A: The SpeedTouch USB/330 is designed for connecting a single computer to broadband. To connect multiple computers or to convert to a wireless connection (instead of USB), it is necessary to replace the SpeedTouch 330 with a wireless router.
It appears that this particular modem doesn't work with a router. :)
