Hi folks, I have a Logitech "Connect" webcam which on test with its software is in perfect working order. The cam's box says "up to 30 frames per second." If I'm using the cam in any of the messengers, I get 0,33 of a frame per second or on a good day i get 0. 77. Do I have to tell you that it's almost like using a still-camera?

Ok, I called logitech who pointed at my ISP. My ISP admits they allocate mosr bandwidth to Browsing and most of the rest to e-mails. Very little to IM's. So you can imagine how & why a cam slows down on a IM. By the way, I do have updated drivers.

My question is which of these that I now list will give me more "oomph for the webcam?" 1. more ram I have 512 i'd double that. 2. a faster graphics card. I have a Nvidia FX 5200 3. a faster line. I have adsl 384 kbps; next up is 512 kbps. I'd really appreciate some input as I'd hate to spend lots more money to achieve nothing. Thanks everyone. "moreproblems"
