Basically i am looking at getting a new laptop to stream live sports in hd and wondering what specs I should be looking for. On my old laptop there is a little bit of lagging which is definitely caused by the laptop and not the streams as it works perfectly on my desktop. i was wondering would i be better getting something with more ram or a better processor? which is more important in this instance. thanks in advance

Pretty much anything you buy new today can stream HD video as long as it's not one of those super cheap AMD single core laptops. Pretty much anything with a decent dual core processor and at least 4GB of RAM will work. If you want good overall performance than look at an Intel i3 or i5 processor base laptop and more than 4GB of RAM.
