I have an HP Pavilion Desktop that is not very loud, the speker volume is all the up way on all the setings. mute is not checked, and it's set to desktop. Any ideas why it's not loud.

Agreed.... and the more I learn the more I agree....also they have made it more difficult than most manufacturers to upgrade...
