Go to Control Panel > Device Manager > Sound video controller, right click on the sound one and choose Update.

Sound not working
Whenever i use discord (both app and online) on my computer i cant hear the other person in the call or voice room. its like theyre on 20 volume vs 100. I also cant watch youtube and other online video platforms like netflix and crunchyroll. i also cant play fornite because the volume is "low" as well. itunes music works fine and my other games work. I did update my graphics card and video something or other for Call of Duty. Now im not sure what it was i updated. this i think started with fortnite and i guess i just noticed it or it progressed into other areas before i updated the drivers for COD. either way my volume is at 100 on everything now but its as if my volume isnt all the way up at all.

Check the Volume Mixer to make sure the volume here is not set lower...
